Reasons for this error-

Instagram tries to keep the platform up to date constantly show new features that often lead to various errors. The main reason behind this error is that you have done too spammy - liked a lot of post, commented on many post's or people, followed/unfollowed many users or instagrammers, pages or sent multiple direct messages within a short period of time. So Instagram think you wants to prevents spam like activity by restricting your actions.

Instagram may consider-

* Mass liking 

* Mass commenting

* Mass following/unfollowing

* Same comments under different posts( consisting emojis, one words etc)

* Unsafe usage of automation tools

In other reasons-

* May be you have violated the Instagram Community Guideline.

* Someone reported to your account or posts.

How to fix?

In order to get rid from this issue follow these steps we have sharing. Please noted that neither of these methods can guarantee you a 100% results since the reason why you see the error are different. 

Let's have a try-

1. Change your password-

You can change your password on your smartphone and /or PC. To change your password tap the account option which is in the lower corner of the page. Then tap on the three lines at the top right screen, after that tap on settings - tap on security option - tap on change password.

In your application Instagram will sent you the mail to reset the password, after receive the mail click on the link and change your password.

To change password in desktop site-

* Open Instagram in your web browser.

* Log in to your account.

* Click Account option in top right of the window.

* Now click on the gear shaped icon on the page.

* Click on the change password.

* Enter the current password and after enter the new password.

* At last click on change password.

2. Report a problem-

When you see this error on Instagram, Instagram will gives you the opportunity to report this problem if you think your actions are restricted by mistake. If the error message doesn't have this option you can report a problem from your account. Here how to do-

Tap the three lines at top right corner, click on settings- click on help option and then click on report a problem. Here you need to write the issue to Instagram team, you can attach a snapshot of your problem also. after write the complete issue you are facing click on submit.

3. Log out your account and wait for 24 hours or several days

Log out from your account and wait for several days, this error may disappear. Don't perform any action on your account don't like, follow or comment on any post. 

4. Uninstall third party tools-

If you use any third party tools for such actions, stop using them as well. To do this open setting- open security - find apps and websites. Press active and unlink apps that are currently active on your account.

Now you see this error may disappear on Instagram. Mostly this error showing when you misuse automation apps, so to fix the issue stop ant BOT like activity from your account and report a problem to the platform.
